Okay, so I'm hoping to restart my project 52 and stick with it. We'll see how it goes... (I'm so bad at these things).
Photo for today is a fun project Sna and I worked on together. We slowed our shutter speeds down and took a bunch of pictures in the dark. Enjoy!

Project 365 = FAIL! Project 52 = GO!
Okay, so I fail miserably at my attempts at a project365. I think it's probably because I'm far too busy. Here's another website that has themes for project 52.
So instead, I will try a project 52 (same idea, just one photo per week). Okay, so here goes with an old photo I took. No theme, just kind of neat. Photo taken on my point and shoot.

Trying to catch up ~_~
I did not do a good job this week keeping up with my project 365. So I have no photos for Tuesday and Wednesday ~_~
Friday January 21, 2011 - Theme: Macro
Looking for macro subjects can be simultaneously difficult and easy at the same time. One just needs to have an open mind (and a good significant other whom comes up with great suggestions). This is Sna's jewelry that she has hanging. I never see here wear these very often, but they do make for a good photo op.
Thursday January 20, 2011 - Theme: Macro
This is Sna's small totoro form Japan. Took me a couple of tries cause I was trying to do in low light and make it work. I selected this as my subject because of it's fuzzy texture that I captured pretty well I think.

Flowers for a new born
Today we went to go visit my new born cousin. She is so adorable. Keeping her pics for us family... but I did snap a picture of one of the gift flowers. Here is my picture for today:

Project 365 Begin
Okay, so I've redone my blog. And I have decided to start my very own project 365 (I know it's about 15 days late in the year, but better late then never).
For those who don't know what a project 365 is, check out this link. Since I'm new at this, I'm following the Digital Photography School's project 365 weekly themes (I might deviate some weeks/days if I don't like the them).
Okay so here are the first two picture for my project 365:
Sunday, January 16th, 2011 - Theme: Macro
Okay, this week's theme is macro photography (click for more info on macro photography). This is one of Sna's bamboo plants. She has it growing in a vase with those bubble things that are supposed to provide it with water and such.

For all my Hawaii friends this is as you all know napple (for non-Hawaiian's it like a puff pastry with fruit filling). Not much explanation needed beyond that I hope. The triangle ones are apple, and the rectangle one is blueberry cream cheese (my favorite).

Friday!
School is starting next week... I'm both excited and worried. I think it'll be a really great year. But I have a lot on my plate with grad school and all, I'm hoping that I can keep those things balanced... we'll see.
Enjoyed spending one of my last days with Sna. Too bad I had to do some homework today though :(
On a positive note, I bought myself a new windbreaker for practice. It's from Oakley. Needed something so shield myself from the rain. It's already rained twice at practice... and it's still July ~_~.
